Belarusian Ambassador meeting in the Iranian MFA

December 2, 2019, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran Yuri Lazarchik met with Special Aide to the Minister, Head of the Eurasian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran Ali Reza Haqqiqian.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and political spheres, as well as the development of the legal framework.

The counterparts reviewed issues of practical implementation of the Interim Agreement leading to the establishment of a free trade zone between the EAEU and Iran.

The Iranian side confirmed that in the coming months it will decide on the dates of the 15th meeting of the Joint Belarusian-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation in Minsk.
