Belarusian Ambassador Holds Meeting in Iranian MFA

On January 13, 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Mr. Yury Lazarchik held a meeting with the Head of the Department for Cooperation with Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine of the Main Department of Eurasia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. A. Sonei.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the organization of the 15th meeting of the Mixed Belarusian-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation, scheduled to be held in 2019 in Minsk, as well as visits to Belarus by delegations from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Iran, the Geological Survey Organization of Iran, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture of Tehran.

The parties also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation, in particular, the issuance of veterinary certificates to Belarusian meat processing enterprises, the provision of legal assistance and the development of legal framework.
