Belarusian Ambassador participates in a conference

On January 27, 2020 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Yury Lazarchik, took part in the conference «Cultural Centers. Common Heritage of Humanity», organized by the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO for representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Tehran.

In the course of the event the conference hall of the National Library of Iran received speeches from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Dr. Mohammad Javad Zarif, President of the National Library of Iran Dr. Ashraf Boroujerdi, Secretary General for the Iranian National Commission for UNESCO Dr. Hojatollah Ayoubi.

During the conference the fundamental role of UNESCO in the preservation, protection and safeguard of the world cultural heritage of humanity was particularly emphasized.
