Belarusian Ambassador Holds Meeting in Iranian MFA

On December 24, 2018 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Mr. Yury Lazarchik held a meeting with the Head of the Department for Cooperation with Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine of the Main Department of Eurasia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. A. Sanai.
During the meeting the prospects of Belarusian-Iranian cooperation in political, industrial, scientific, legal framework, trade and economic spheres were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the matters of certification of Belarusian beef and dairy factories, arrangement of the visits of Minister for healthcare of Iran, Deputy minister for industry of Iran, Head of Geological survey of Iran and Chairman of the Tehran Chamber Commerce to the Republic of Belarus in 2019, as well as the issues of mutual legal support, development of legal framework and payment of the debts of the Iranian partners to Belarusian business entities.
The Parties also agreed to intensify their common activity in the sphere of culture, having expressed hope for the successful results of the 1st Belarusian-Iranian contest of literary translations «Literary Bridge» which is going to be held in Tehran in 2019.
