Ambassador meets Head of the Consular Department of the Iranian MFA

On July 19, 2020 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Mr. Yuri Lazarchik met with the Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mr. Mahmoud Adib.

During the meeting the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere, in particular the implementation of the arrangements reached during the fifth round of consular consultations between the foreign ministries of Belarus and Iran, held in Tehran on September 10-11, 2018, as well as the organization of the next round of consular consultations in Minsk.

Mahmoud Adib expressed hope for the further development of the traditionally friendly and productive interaction of the consular services of Belarus and Iran.

In his turn, Yuri Lazarchik stressed the importance of stepping up work to expand the legal framework between the two countries in the consular sphere.
