Ambassador meets the head of the Iranian Parliament working group on cooperation with Belarusian Parliament

On February 21, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Iran Yuri Lazarchik met with the head of the working group of the Assembly of the Islamic Council of Iran on cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Abolfazl Amouei.

During the meeting, Abolfazl Amouei received a message from the head of the working group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation with the Assembly of the Islamic Council of Iran, Andrei Savinykh, with an invitation to pay a working visit to the Republic of Belarus.

The parties updated information on the state of the legal framework between the two countries and outlined directions and approaches to improve it.

During the conversation, the sides discussed issues of trade and economic cooperation in preparation for the 15th session of the Mixed Belarusian-Iranian Commission on Economic Cooperation in Minsk.

Special attention was paid to the interregional cooperation and the development of sister-city relations between the regions and cities of Belarus and Iran.
