Belarusian Ambassador Holds Meeting in the Legal Medicine Organization of Iran

On January 22, 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Mr. Yury Lazarchik held a meeting with the Head of the Legal Medicine Organization of Iran Ahmad Shojaei.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the forensic field, including reciprocal visits of experts, holding of scientific conferences and seminars, provision with methodological assistance and development of the relevant legal framework.
Y.Lazarchik conveyed to the Iranian side an invitation from the State Forensic Examination Committee to visit the Republic of Belarus and explained the goals, objectives and structure of the Committee.
A.Shojai thanked for the invitation and expressed his intention to visit the Republic of Belarus in 2019. The Head of the Legal Medicine Organization confirmed the interest of the Iranian side in the development of cooperation in the mentioned areas, as well as the elaboration of the draft of memorandum on cooperation, proposed by the Belarusian side, for its subsequent signing during the upcoming visit.
